The Finca Cortesín layout is simply spectacular. The main features are the length of the course (6,808 mts.) and the great variety of natural vegetation including olive trees and cork trees.
Technical features: the Bermuda 419 grass fairways are very wide (up to 50 mts.), the bunkers are beautifully shaped and filled with white marble sand. Tee boxes are of a very high quality. Without doubt, the greens are one of Finca Cortesín jewels, they all have slight brakes and have the quality to be extremely fast.
Having already had the honour of hosting 3 Volvo World Match Play Championships in recent years, September 2023 saw them host the 18th edition of the Solheim Cup where all the best female golfers from both sides of the Atlantic commenced battle in what turned out to be the closest ever match with the Europeans managing to retain the cup in spectacular fashion!!
