A generally well-regarded golf course with several attractive features. This open parkland layout is well worth a visit and should provide an enjoyable and testing round. This is the most recent course to open at Alcaidesa and provides a companion to the original layout, the much admired Links course, which enjoys spectacular views onto the Mediterranean and south to the Rock of Gibraltar.
The new course designed by Dave Thomas Ltd offers a variety of natural landscapes ranging from the plateau area (holes 1 to 5 & 17th & 18th) where the course has the feel of a Heathland course with wide fairways & outstanding views of the Mediterranean Sea & the local Mountain Ranges, including the Sierra Nevada, to the river valley where the holes meander along the valley & incorporate various water features / hazards.
