The Gran Hotel, Benahavis, near Marbella
The Gran Hotel Benahavís is a new exclusive hotel located in the small white village of Benahavís, known as the "Gastronomic Corner of the Costa del Sol" due to its 30 plus superb restaurants.
Surrounded by the Benahavís mountains with typical Mediterranean low forest of aromatic plants and flowers, the village is only 60 kms from both Málaga and Gibraltar airports, 10 minutes from the fashionable Puerto Banús and Marbella.
 The hotel is built in an Andalusian "cortijo" style architecture offering a total of 95 rooms: 28 double rooms, 52 twin rooms (including five pairs of interconnecting cabana rooms), 5 junior suites, 6 one bedroom suites and 4 two bedroom suites. All the twin beds can be converted into king size beds.
The hotel creates an intimate atmosphere, all rooms have been attractively designed and are fully air-conditioned with individual temperature control. Many rooms have large balconies to enjoy the beautiful views of Benahavis village or the surrounding mountains and all are equipped with private minibar, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box and ironing facilities. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with shower, bathtub, hairdryer, bathrobes and carefully selected amenities. Additionally all suites and cabanas have Jacuzzis, with the suites being furthermore advantaged with separate shower.
The Hotel offers room service, laundry service, baby sitting and baby cots upon request, and doctor on call service.
It has two pool areas, including an outdoor Jacuzzi, and an exclusive Health SPA with six wet and dry treatment rooms, hairdressing, pedicure, and manicure, beauty treatments, fully equipped gymnasium, Roman Bath, Finish Sauna, indoor dip pool, and three Jacuzzis.
