The terrain is more undulating than Guadalmina's South Course.
There is more water. For example it comes into play in the form of lakes at the 6th and 11th holes and a stream bisects the course to the south.
At the 11th you drive over a small lake and fountain placed just before the green whilst at the par 4, 17th the river comes into play.
