The standard package is typically for a group of 4 (or multiples of 4) coming for a week’s holiday and playing on average 5 rounds of golf. It is unusual for Europeans to want to play more than once a day and the shortened winter daylight hours don’t always allow this.
With improved air service to Malaga and Gibraltar airports there is an increasing trend for long weekend breaks.
Golfers will often like to take a “rest day” around midweek when they can regroup and recover from the “après-golf”.
So most groups will require, accommodation, car-rental and greenfees. Golf Experience offers an excellent range of accommodations all along the Costa del Sol ranging from 5 star deluxe accommodation to self-catering. We take great care in finding suitable accommodation taking into consideration proximity to amenities, courses etc.
Golf Experience has contracts with Avis, Europa Gold Car, and Espacar Rent-A-Car in Spain and we will select the most appropriate car for clients depending on their specific needs.
Long-haul travellers from the USA and Asia will often want add-ons such as overnights in other Spanish cities Madrid and Barcelona being popular. We can arrange this. Such golfers will sometimes request a twinned vacation with a stay on the Costa del Sol and Portugal’s Algarve area.
We also arrange one-day and overnight golf stays in Morocco.
